I figured it was about time to update the whole hand situation ^^ Good news is, I'm getting better. The bad news, it's still not gone.... :c
I can draw a little bit, and I can spend time one the computer, but I can not write by hand. It might sound a little weird that I can draw but not write, but the reason for this is that I draw with the whole arm, from shoulder to fingertips. This makes it easier for me to use the parts of arm that doesn't hurt. For writing on paper it's easier for me to just use the left hand. Writing with my non-dominant hand goes slower and it looks like shit, but it gets the job done.
I went to the doctor on monday after a painful weekend, and he said it looks like I'm going to be fine soon. He gave me some meds as well, but they are too strong for my stomach so I don't dare to take them any more (No worries, he said it was just for extra help and not necessary, and to stop taking it if I reacted badly).
So my plan from here is to first of all finish my contest entry which needs to be done by the 22nd-23rd (not sure because of time zones). After that I'm going to work on the art trades I have going right now. From they are done and untill I come back from summer holiday with my family, I think I'm going to work on personal art. I have 4+ characters that needs updated ref sheets and I have several ideas for personal art and fan art. Of course getting my hand better again comes first, then drawing, so I will take it easy untill my hand is good again. Exams are coming up as well, so I need to focus on those.
I hope to be able to upload bi-weekly untill I go on holiday, but I can't promise anything! When I'm back home in late June/ early July I hope to be able to upload more often if something else doesn't get in the way!

I'm not even sure what to title this
This is not a rant, just me trying to put it into words. I'm sorry if it sound negative.
But
I don't think I can be on this site right now. My hand is not back to normal, I don't know when or if it ever will. This makes it hard for me to constantly feel like I should draw.
I have good days where I can draw, but the situation is difficult, and feeling like I should be active here just adds a ton of extra stress and negative feelings on top of the stuff I'm already dealing with.
This journal probably doesn't even make sense. It's not a big deal right? I could just... not use dA.. right?
Well, for me it's important, and I can't just ignore
I will be back
I'm just going through some stuff, and I need time to get past it. I'm not in a state of mind that lends itself to improve and grow with my art, so I'm going to keep it all to myself for a while. This is why I haven't been posting anything in ages.
When it comes to art I owe, I just need time. For those who wants to cancel or get an update on any art trade / collab / etc, just send me a note. I will reach out to a few people about how their art is coming along and how this will affect it later when things have calmed down a little bit.
I hope everything is well for everybody! <3 I will be back and active again as soon as I can ^^
I'm so
Hand update thingy
Update (14/04/2016):
It has been about 10 days since my surgery, and I seem to be recovering well. I can move my hand around and don't have the same pain as I have had the last year. Sadly my hand is very stiff and sometimes it can really hurt. It might get better over the next 4-5 weeks since then is my all clear to start lifting things.
I have been doodling some on paper for the last 3 days or so, just to get the feel for it again. Mostly dragons from flight rising, but also some things to practice to do the art I owe people. Probably not going to upload anything untill after my exams (done in mid June)

Happy New Year!
I'm a few days late, but I wanted to wait untill I got back from my holiday c:
The last 2 weeks was spent with cat cuddles and delicious food, a great ending to a crappy year!
As many others I have some resolutions for 2016, but mostly just life/health improving stuff that happens to "start" now c:
It looks like I will have to wait a few months before getting my operation for my hand. I'm going to a discussion-thingy in early-mid february, and after that I probably have to wait for a little while. I hope that I can get it quickly so that it doesn't affect this semester too much.
That's about it ^^ I hope you all had an amazing holiday, an
